Our school exams start in a couple of days. Study sessions are on full swing. With that I mean, all the notebooks, textbooks, pens are organised on the table, I am going over the notes, while the child is playing with his fidget spinner!! Periodically ( every thirty minutes) a snack is requested for, preferably in the form of chocolate/ candy bar. Well at least that I have control over. For now. So to satisfy the hungry little snacker I made these easy peasy, delicious Coconut Almond Rose Bliss Balls aka laddoo!!
Avocados are a rarity in this house. Not because we don’t like them, but because, I can never seem to get a good one! Its almost always either overripe or under done. This is when I follow all instructions to the T, check on them every day, thrice a day, whatever google tells me to do and yet, most often their fate is in the bin! But the day a good one comes, its a fiesta! And this time we celebrated with this velvety dreamy Avocado Cucumber Almond Dip!
So after hunting high and low for the longest time for a cast iron skillet, I bought one three years ago. Its been sitting in a corner of my cupboard ever since….yep, story of my life! This morning, though, I finally put it to good use and made a scrumptious Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie!
Did you know, children, during exam time, are forever cranky and hungry? Apart from the regular comfort food, they are always clamouring for “something different”…preferably sweet in our case. While the mother is trying to stop them from going into a sugar induced coma, the father is of no help, with his mega sweet tooth! Enter no-bake Strawberry Cheesecake Bites, to save us all! 😉
