Simple Gin and Tonic Recipe - This easy and refreshing cocktail will lift your spirits and quench your thirst - the perfect summer drink just with three ingredients and lots of ice!
Hello everyone! I’m excited to begin a new project here, in which I will explore the world of cocktails and mixed drinks! From recreating classics to more innovative creations, I look forward to sharing plenty of different recipes. I am by no means a cocktail connoisseur or mixologist, but I most certainly appreciate a good drink and using creative, fresh ingredients in whatever I make. With the heat that has been handed to us this summer, I’m starting off with some cool and refreshing drinks that will be a boon to us all!
This Hendrick’s Cucumber Gin and Tonic is simple yet tasteful and very invigorating. It's healthy as far as cocktails go, with no added sugars necessary! All you need is a good gin, a regular tonic, and some fresh mint.
The Hendrick’s Cucumber Gin I used is not too strong and has a natural botanical sweetness. I added mint which perfectly accentuates the gin, creating a striking yet not overpowering taste. The tonic I used was the Schweppes brand. The fizzy tonic paired with the sharp and sweet flavors of the gin and mint, along with ice, makes for the perfect summer drink!
I also added a little cucumber garnish for extra freshness – and because it looks so charming! This drink is great for both parties and a relaxing time at home.
