This easy Tres Leches Cake recipe makes a saffron milk cake that is indulgent & so delicious!


– All-purpose flour – Baking powder – Baking soda – Salt – Caster sugar – Yogurt – Oil  – Vanilla extract – Saffron strands all ingredients below!

step 1

Combine dry ingredients in one bowl & wet ingredients in another bowl.

step 2

Mix the ingredients to form the batter, the pour the cake batter into the prepared pan.

step 3

Bake for 30–35 minutes.

step 4

While the sponge cake bakes, make the saffron milk.

step 5

Poke holes in the cake, then pour the saffron milk concoction over the cake.

step 6

Serve chilled, topped with whipped cream.  Serve each slice with the remaining saffron milk!
