– Fresh figs – Sugar – Lemon juice – Water all ingredients below!

Wash the figs well. Drain and cut the stems. Dice the figs into small pieces.

Add the figs, sugar, lemon juice, and water to saucepan. Cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring frequently until the fruit is soft and jammy.

Take the pan off the heat and mash the figs using a wooden spoon. Transfer to a clean, sterilized jar, and let the jam cool at room temperature.

Store in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
