They\u2019ll disappear if you use a food processor to blend the pumpkin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We don\u2019t get <strong>canned pumpkin pur\u00e9e<\/strong> here, but it is a good substitute if available to you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for the question of what kind of pumpkin to use for these eggless cinnamon rolls, I say what\u2019s <strong>locally available. Any regular pumpkin<\/strong> that you can easily get your hands on will muscle its way into the spiced spirals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I used a beautiful butternut squash this time, that lent a gorgeous orange-yellow tint to pumpkin cinnamon rolls and made them incredibly soft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spice<\/strong>: Most easy desserts with pumpkins have cinnamon in them. These rolls are no different. But, if you\u2019re in the mood, accent the flavor with a teaspoon of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tashasartisanfoods.com\/blog\/pumpkin-pie-spiced-almonds\/#pumpkin-pie-spice-recipe\"><strong>pumpkin pie spice<\/strong><\/a> to make pumpkin spice rolls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or go <strong>half-and-half, <\/strong>to make them redolent of the season of cinnamon, spice, and everything nice. You can even <strong>completely replace<\/strong> cinnamon with pumpkin pie spice as I did for my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tashasartisanfoods.com\/blog\/pumpkin-bread-rolls\/\">cutest pumpkin bread rolls<\/a>. The choice is yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vegan:<\/strong> These are eggless cinnamon rolls, and you can make them vegan (like my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tashasartisanfoods.com\/blog\/vegan-cinnamon-rolls\/\">vegan cinnamon rolls<\/a>) by using <strong>plant-based milk and butter.<\/strong> Or replace butter with <strong>coconut oil.<\/strong> I\u2019ve successfully used almond milk plenty of times, and it doesn\u2019t change the flavor at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add-ins: <strong>Chopped nuts<\/strong> would be an excellent addition to this fall pumpkin dessert.
