Any other variety of figs will work in this recipe too. You can even use dried figs or frozen figs for this recipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Banana<\/strong> makes the smoothie creamy and gives it natural sweetness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dates<\/strong> are a key ingredient. They add a sweetness along with a lovely caramelly flavor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Oats<\/strong> make the smoothie more filling. I like to use rolled oats, but instant or quick-cooking ones will also work here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cinnamon<\/strong> powder adds great flavor to the smoothie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Milk<\/strong>: I used light coconut milk to make a dairy-free fig smoothie.
