An active sourdough starter will also work well here.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Banana - Use a ripe, spotty banana for the best flavor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Milk - I used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tashasartisanfoods.com\/blog\/diy-almond-milk\/\">homemade almond milk<\/a>. Feel free to use any kind of milk you prefer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wholewheat flour. You can easily use all-purpose or buckwheat flour as I did in this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tashasartisanfoods.com\/blog\/glutenfree-banana-pancakes\/\">gluten-free banana pancake recipe<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sugar- I used coconut sugar for a deeper flavor.
