Ingredients
1.5cupsWholewheat flour
1tspBaking powder
1tspBaking soda
1tspSalt
1.5tspSmoked paprikaYou can use any red chilli powder
1tspBlack pepper, coarsely ground
2Eggs, room temperature
1 1/4cupsMilk, room temperature
2TbspExtra virgin Olive oil
3/4cupMotherDairy cheese cubes, grated
1/4cupGreen Onion, finely chopped
1clove Garlic, finely minced
Extra oil for greasing the waffle iron
Instructions
Combine the dry ingredients - wholewheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, paprika, and black pepper, in a bowl.
In another bowl, whisk well the milk, eggs and olive oil. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix well till you get a smooth, lump-free mixture.
Add MotherDairy grated cheese, green onions and minced garlic to the batter.
Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. Grease the waffle cavities well and pour a ladleful of batter in the lump free. Let the batter cook for 5-6 minutes, until golden and crisp.
Repeat with the rest of the batter. Serve warm. Enjoy!
