15Dates, soaked in hot water for 10 minutesSave the water, as you might need it.
1TbspDried Rose Petals
1TbspDried rose petal powder, finely chopped pistachio, dessicated coconutOptional, for topping
Add all the ingredients (add dates without their water) to a blender or food processor. Blend together till everything is smooth and sticky. Taste and adjust for sweetness. If you'd like it to be sweeter, you can simply add some honey/maple syrup/ agave syrup, to the "dough".
If the mixture is too wet, add more coconut. If its too crumbly, add some of the saved date water.
Roll the dough into equal sized balls. Coat them with pistachios and
/ or a mixture of coconut and rose petal powder. These need to be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
For the ROSE PETAL POWDER, simply grind dried rose petals in your coffee grinder and sift it once to get a fine powder. Store the balance in the freezer, use to top yogurt, kheer, icecreams!
