1cup / 65 gmsDessicated coconut
3/4cup / 105 gmsAlmonds
15Dates, soaked in hot water for 10 minutesSave the water, as you might need it.
1TbspDried Rose Petals
1.5TbspFlax seeds
1.5tspRose water
1TbspBeetroot powder, finely chopped pistachio, desiccated coconutOptional, for topping
Instructions
Add all the ingredients (add dates without their water) to a blender or food processor. Blend together till everything is smooth and sticky. Taste and adjust for sweetness. If you'd like it to be sweeter, you can simply add some honey/maple syrup/ agave syrup, to the "dough".
If the mixture is too wet, add more coconut. If it's too crumbly, add some of the saved date water.
Roll the dough into equal-sized balls. Coat them with pistachios and/or a mixture of coconut and beetroot powder. Enjoy! These need to be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
