Spicy, aromatic, tingly &  flavor-packed,  Chili Oil is a fiery seasoning that is an absolute must-have for all kitchens!

– Peanut oil – Ginger – Chili powder  – Sesame seeds – Bay leaf – Cinnamon stick – Star anise – Salt  – Sugar – Sesame oil – Sichuan peppercorns

Ingredients

Step 1

Combine sesame seeds, red chili powder, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, star anise, & sesame oil

In a small pan, heat peanut oil on low for 4 - 5 minutes

Take the oil off the heat & pour it over the spice mixture. Be very careful because the oil sizzles as you pour!

Stir & let the spice flavors infuse into the oil.

Step 5

Cool completely before you transfer it into an airtight jar & refrigerate

This Chili Oil should last for a good 3 weeks!

Stir it into noodles, salads, on top of fried eggs or in many other ways!
