A quick bread made with apple butter is a delicious and moist fall dessert full of sweet apple and cinnamon flavors. This apple butter bread recipe is eggless and easy to follow.
Preheat your oven to 180 C. Grease an 8"*4" loaf pan well.
Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon powder, and nutmeg powder in a large bowl.
Add the sugar and mix well.
Whisk the oil, yogurt, and apple butter in a separate bowl.
Pour over the dry ingredients and mix well until no white streaks of flour are visible. The batter will be thick.Add 1-2 tbsp of warm milk if the batter feels too dry.
Fold in the chopped walnuts and transfer the batter to your prepared loaf pan.
Cinnamon sugar: Combine cinnamon powder ( 1/2 tsp) and sugar ( 2 tbsp) in a small bowl and sprinkle on top of the cake batter.
Bake at 180 C for 40-45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the tin for 10-15 minutes, before turning it out on a cooling rack to cool completely.
Slice the completely cooled bread and serve. Enjoy!
The longer this bread is allowed to rest, the more delicious and flavorful it is. If possible, let it rest overnight before slicing.
