Baked Apple Donuts with Cinnamon Sugar
Baked apple donuts with cinnamon sugar are the best fall recipe for incredibly moist, fluffy, almost cake-like donuts. Wonderfully easy to make, these are apple donuts baked (not fried). There’s no mess, and they’re ready in 30 minutes!

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180 C. Grease the cavities of a donut pan well.
Combine the milk and vinegar in a small bowl. Set aside for 5 minutes.
Place the grated apple in a kitchen towel and squeeze out the juice. You can drink this juice!
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon powder, and sugar,
Add in the milk-vinegar mixture, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and the grated apple.
Mix well until a smooth batter, of soft-dropping consistency is formed.
Spoon or pipe the batter into the prepared pan, filling 3/4 of the way.
Bake at 180 C for 10-12 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the donuts rest for 5 minutes in the pan before turning them out on a cooling rack.
Cinnamon Sugar Topping
Combine the sugar and cinnamon powder in a wide bowl.
Brush each donut with the melted butter and then toss in this cinnamon sugar mixture.
Serve and enjoy!

Notes
Store the donuts in an air tight container for 2-3 days. You can also refrigerate them for upto 1 week. Reheat in the microwave for 15-20 seconds.
