Another summer day, another mango recipe! Today I’m bringing you my quick and delicious Mango Avocado Salsa. With a handful of ingredients and just 10 minutes, you can have a refreshing dip that is great for snacking and entertaining!
The rich creaminess of the avocado and silkiness of the mangos create a wonderful texture. The red onions and red bell peppers bring a fantastic crunch to the recipe. I chose to make mine a little mild on the spice, feel free to add more jalapenos or chilies to match your preference!
Aside from how refreshing and yummy this salsa is, I also love it for the healthy properties of its star ingredients – mango and avocado. This Mango Avocado Salsa tastes the best when fresh! If you won’t be using it immediately, add some lime to the avocados to prevent them from oxidizing too quickly.
Mango Avocado Salsa
- 2 Mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 small Onion, diced
- 1 Avocado, diced
- 1 Red bell pepper, diced
- 1-2 Green chillies / Jalapeno, finely diced
- 2 Tbsp Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Cumin / jeera powder
- 3-4 Tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped
- 2 Tbsp Mint leaves, chopped
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Combine the mango, avocado, onions, red bell pepper and jalapenos in a bowl.
- Stir in the lemon juice, cumin powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Gently stir in the mint and coriander leaves.
- Serve immediately. Enjoy!
