These easy Cherry popsicles need only 3 ingredients and 10 minutes of prep! Creamy yogurt and pretty cherries make it the perfect frozen treat, great for dessert or any time snacking!

Iโve been making this cherry popsicle recipe on repeat for years. Mostly because theyโre ridiculously easy and always a hit. You only need fresh cherries (which are in season here), a bit of honey, and yogurt. Thatโs it. Blend, pour, and freeze (while sipping on cherry gin and tonic)!
Theyโre tart, sweet, and meant for blistering hot days when you want something cool and homemade. And when you're not in the mood for popsicles, cherries still shine in cozy bakes like cherry pie or rustic cherry galette.

Recipe Ingredients

Yogurt: Plain Greek yogurt gives the cherry popsicles a wonderful creamy flavor. You can also use your favorite plant-based yogurt. Don't have Greek yogurt? Drain your yogurt in a cheesecloth-lined sieve for 2-3 hours and use it for this recipe.
Cherries: Fresh cherries are the best bet for this cherry yogurt popsicle recipe. You can use frozen ones too, just thaw them and drain off the excess liquid. We are chopping the cherries in this recipe, but you could also puree them. Or swirl in homemade cherry jam into the yogurt!
Sweetener: I used honey. Regular sugar, maple syrup, or agave work just fine, too! Add according to how sweet your cherries are. Taste before freezing and adjust as needed.
Please see the recipe card below for full information on ingredients and quantities.
Variations
Add-ins: A little lemon juice and zest give the cherry yogurt pops a zing. A splash of homemade vanilla extract makes the flavor deeper and enhanced.
Nuts: Stir in toasted coconut flakes or chopped almonds, or pistachios for a crunchy texture.
Mix Up the Fruit: This popsicle recipe works with strawberries, blueberries, mangoes (like in my mango coconut popsicles), or peaches(see these delicious peach popsicles). You can also combine different fruits.

Pro Tips
- Fresh cherries will give you the best fresh, fruity flavor.
- If using frozen cherries, please thaw and drain them before mixing them with yogurt.
- You can also blend Greek yogurt, cherries, and honey in a blender if you don't want a chunky texture.
- After step 3, tap each mold gently on the counter to get rid of any trapped air bubbles. This helps the popsicles set evenly and smoothly.
- If the cherry Greek yogurt popsicles stick to the mold, run warm water along the edges for 10โ15 seconds. Theyโll slide out without a fight.

Recipe FAQs
Yes, you absolutely can! Greek yogurt fruit popsicles are one of the creamiest pops youโll ever have. Frozen yogurt holds up well and gives the popsicle that lovely, smooth bite.
Store them in the freezer, in the molds, for 1-2 days. For longer storage, unmold them and store them in an airtight container or wrapped individually in parchment paper to keep them fresh and frost-free for up to two weeks.
Itโs easy. Slice the cherry in half around the pit, twist gently to separate, and use your fingers or the tip of a knife to pop the pit out.
Another way is to use a metal straw or chopstick to push the pit out from the bottom of the cherry. This is my preferred way!
Always make extra and try them in cherry puff pastry tart or cherry bread pudding later!
