HOW TO MAKE WAFFLES WITHOUT EGGS?
Step 1: Mix coconut milk with vinegar in a small bowl to make buttermilk for these eggless waffles and let it sit for 5–6 minutes.
Step 2: Meanwhile, sift and combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, and cinnamon powder.
Step 3: Mix vanilla and coconut oil into the buttermilk.
Step 4: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
Step 5: Whisk until you have a smooth and thick egg-free waffle batter. It should be of a soft-dropping consistency, like a cake batter.
Step 6: Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

This waffle batter recipe (no eggs) is best for making fresh waffles. Eaten warm. But if you do have any leftovers, you can simply refrigerate or freeze them. Pop them in the toaster, and they'll be good to go.
EGGLESS WAFFLE RECIPE INGREDIENT SWAPS
Flour: All-purpose or wholewheat flour, both work very well in this recipe. Can you make a vegan waffle recipe gluten-free? I have made gluten-free waffles with beetroot, apple, and cinnamon, and even brownie waffles. But I haven’t made these vegan waffles gluten-free. Though I'm sure buckwheat will work like magic.
Milk: I've made these waffles with coconut milk, but please feel free to use any milk of your choice.
Oil: I love the flavor of coconut oil in my baking. Any other oil or butter (melted) will be perfect too.
Add-ons: From orange or lemon zest to chocolate chips to nuts, you can add pretty much everything to the batter of this easy waffle recipe. Try matcha powder for a twist. Mix it up as you like.
If you're into chocolate, like my crew is, you can easily make these into chocolate waffles without eggs. Add a couple of tablespoons of cocoa powder to the dry ingredients and proceed as given in the eggless waffle recipe.

Ingredients
- 1.5 cups Wholewheat/ All purpose flour
- 1.5 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
