Strawberry Rose Chia Pudding Ingredients
Chia seeds: The world calls them a superfood. I just love them for their mild taste and versatility. From homemade strawberry jam to chocolate chia pudding, they’re easy-to-use ingredients that pack a punch of health.
Strawberries: Fresh are really the best bet for this chia pudding recipe, but frozen strawberries will work in a pinch too. Blend to make a purée.
Rose water: I just adore rosewater in my desserts. Just a few drops for that delicate floral aroma and flavor!
Sweetener: Maple syrup or honey—use whatever you have at hand.
Yogurt: I prefer using plain Greek yogurt for my chia puddings. It makes the pudding creamier. Homemade yogurt also works well.
Add-ons: Chopped pistachios, popped amaranth, pumpkin seeds, and rose petals. These are optional, and I use them just to top up the pudding.

Chia Pudding Recipe FAQs
Because of their neutral taste, chia seeds are very versatile. Sprinkle them on salads like on this roasted sweet potato salad, add them to smoothies like in this pineapple strawberry smoothie, and stir a spoonful in banana milk or this strawberry milk. Chia seeds are fantastic in your baked goodies. They bring so much texture to homemade jams like mulberry jam and persimmon jam.
Chia has a mild, slightly nutty flavor. But they take on the taste of the liquid and sweeteners you use. So, chia pudding mostly tastes like whatever you mix in it.
Yes, you can! Using frozen strawberries for chia pudding works wonderfully.
