Diwali countdown has begun! I’m busy wrapping up my work orders, home repair projects. The house is getting a sparkle and shine, we are filling it up with flowers, candles and diyas. Yes, you can almost smell the sweet excitement in the air. With the biggest festival comes the food..sweet, savoury, rich, delightful, indulgent ! What’s Diwali without mithai? And nothing like homemade treats like these Easy Coconut Ladoos ( laddu) !
As Diwali approaches ( rather fast this year!), we are all getting busy with cleaning, decorating our homes, thinking of new interesting recipes to serve at our Diwali parties, to take as hostess gifts and also for visitors dropping in to wish us. And if you have forever hungry kids like mine, festive season notwithstanding, then this Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Ball recipe will sure come in handy!
If you all didn’t already know, we are a chocolate worshipping family! Because every night has to end with dessert, I like to make somewhat healthier options and in smaller servings like this Fudgy Skillet Brownie. This way the cravings and portion control, both, are taken care of !
Our school exams start in a couple of days. Study sessions are on full swing. With that I mean, all the notebooks, textbooks, pens are organised on the table, I am going over the notes, while the child is playing with his fidget spinner!! Periodically ( every thirty minutes) a snack is requested for, preferably in the form of chocolate/ candy bar. Well at least that I have control over. For now. So to satisfy the hungry little snacker I made these easy peasy, delicious Coconut Almond Rose Bliss Balls aka laddoo!!
