Mulberry Smoothie Ingredients
Mulberries have the shortest season, and you really don’t want to miss it. Juicy and tart, they are great for making cool mulberry sharbats, mulberry crumble pie, or chutneys. For this mulberry smoothie recipe, you can use fresh mulberries, frozen, or even homemade mulberry jam.
Mango: Sweet and luscious; I chose fresh mangoes, but frozen ones work just as well.
Beetroot adds a gorgeous color and fiber to the smoothie. I prefer to cook beets as they’re easier to digest. You can add them raw too.
Cashews make the easy mango smoothie extra rich and creamy. I used raw, whole cashews. There’s no need to soak them overnight. You can soak them in warm water for 5 minutes to soften them and make blending easier.
Fresh coconut water is light and refreshing. That's what I like to use. But bottled ones work just as well.
Please see the recipe card below for full information on ingredients and quantities.
Recipe Variations
Not a fan of coconut water? Leave it out, and in its place, use coconut milk, oat milk, cashew milk, or almond milk. Greek yogurt tastes good too!
Cashews can be swapped with almonds.
Sweetener is optional. If you like a sweeter mulberry smoothie, add a touch of honey, maple syrup, or any of your favorite sweeteners.
Add a scoop of protein powder to make a delicious, hearty post-workout treat!

I recommend serving the beetroot mango smoothie as soon as you make it. Pour into a chilled glass, and top with extra mulberries or chopped cashews for a little crunch.
You can even turn it into a smoothie bowl with air fryer granola, coconut flakes, and fresh fruit for a midday pick-me-up or a light, guilt-free dessert.
If you love smoothies as much as I do, you might also enjoy a chocolate peanut butter smoothie or chocolate beet smoothie (another delicious way to sneak in beets)!
